Is chevron parquet suitable for narrow spaces?
I’ve been eyeing chevron parquet flooring for a while, but I’m not sure if it’s the right fit for our narrow upstairs hallway. Does this kind of pattern make small spaces look cramped or does it help with visual flow? Found a great portfolio of this style on wood flooring shop in Edinburgh, but would really appreciate some feedback before we commit.

Chevron patterns are actually pretty versatile. It’s not just about looks — the direction you lay it can influence how spacious a room feels. In tighter spaces, laying it lengthwise can stretch the perception of the area. It’s a clever design move if you’re looking to do something classic but not boring.
